A fully stainless steel panelled rotary oven with an imported, fuel-efficient oil/gas burner and a heavily insulated build — 36-tray capacity, 4 HP electric load.
The 36-tray Roto Rack Oven sits in the middle of our rotary oven range — enough capacity for a serious commercial bakery without the footprint or electrical load of our largest industrial models. It is a fully stainless steel panelled rotary oven, built around an imported, fuel-efficient oil or gas burner and heavily insulated to keep running costs predictable shift after shift.
Rotation is the whole point of a roto rack design — trays continuously rotate through the heat zone, which gives far more even, balanced baking than a static deck oven can achieve at this scale, without demanding constant tray rotation from an operator.
This model fits commercial bakeries and mid-scale industrial producers that need reliable, high-volume rotary baking without stepping up to our largest 160/200-tray industrial ovens — a common choice for franchise bread brands and regional production units.
We've been building roto rack ovens since 1992, and the 36-tray model is the size most of our commercial clients settle on when they've outgrown a swing tray oven but don't yet need industrial-scale capacity. The imported burner and heavy insulation are the same specification across our whole oven range — we don't cut those corners on any tray size. Every oven we dispatch is commissioned on-site by our own engineers, and remains covered under our AMC program for ongoing servicing, burner tuning and firing tube inspection.
A Roto Rack Oven continuously rotates trays through the heat zone for even baking without operator intervention, while a swing tray oven relies on a swinging tray mechanism. Roto Rack designs generally suit bakeries wanting higher, more hands-off throughput.
The 36-tray model runs on a 4 HP electric load, alongside its oil or gas-fired burner for heat generation.
Both oil-fired and gas-fired burner configurations are available — let us know your preferred and locally available fuel source.
